Harris Automotive – Terms & Conditions of Sale
1. Definitions
“Harris Automotive”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Harris Automotive.
“Customer”, “you”, or “your” refers to the purchaser or prospective purchaser of a vehicle.
“Vehicle” refers to any motor vehicle offered for sale by Harris Automotive.

2. Vehicle Descriptions
We make every effort to ensure that vehicle descriptions, specifications, mileage, features, photographs, and other information are accurate at the time of advertisement.
However:
* Vehicle specifications may vary from manufacturer information.
* Optional extras and features should be independently verified by the customer before purchase.
* Mileage displayed is correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of advertising but may increase slightly due to test drives, vehicle movement, or preparation.
Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle thoroughly and satisfy themselves as to its condition, specification, and suitability before completing a purchase.

3. Vehicle Reservation Deposits
A vehicle may be reserved upon payment of a deposit.
Deposit Refund Policy
By paying a deposit, you acknowledge and agree that:
* The deposit secures the vehicle exclusively for you.
* The vehicle may be removed from sale and other prospective purchasers may be turned away.
* Harris Automotive may incur costs and losses associated with reserving the vehicle on your behalf.
Deposits are paid to reserve a vehicle and are therefore non-refundable, except in the circumstance outlined below.
When a Deposit May Be Refunded
A deposit will only be refunded where:
* The customer attends to view the vehicle in person and reasonably believes the vehicle has been materially misdescribed when compared to the advertisement or information provided by Harris Automotive.
Any concerns regarding the vehicle must be raised prior to purchase or collection.
Deposits Will Not Be Refunded If:
* You change your mind.
* You decide not to proceed after reserving the vehicle for reasons unrelated to the vehicle being materially misdescribed.
* You are unable to obtain finance.
* Your personal circumstances change.
* You purchase another vehicle.
* You fail to complete the purchase within the agreed timeframe.
* You fail to maintain communication regarding the purchase.
* You decide the vehicle is no longer suitable for your needs despite it matching the description provided.
Where Harris Automotive agrees that a vehicle has been materially misdescribed, any deposit paid will be refunded in full to the original payment method.

4. Vehicle Availability
All vehicles are offered subject to availability.
Harris Automotive reserves the right to:
* Withdraw a vehicle from sale at any time.
* Refuse a sale at its discretion.
* Cancel a reservation and refund any monies paid where circumstances prevent the transaction from proceeding.

5. Part Exchange Vehicles
Any valuation provided for a part exchange vehicle is subject to:
* Physical inspection.
* Verification of mileage.
* Verification of service history.
* Verification of ownership.
* Confirmation of overall condition.
Should the vehicle differ materially from the description provided, Harris Automotive reserves the right to amend or withdraw the valuation offered.
Any outstanding finance must be disclosed prior to the transaction.

6. Payment
All balances must be paid in full and cleared before a vehicle is released.
Accepted payment methods may include:
* Bank transfer.
* Debit card.
* Approved finance facilities.
Cash payments may be accepted only at the discretion of Harris Automotive and subject to applicable legal requirements.
Ownership of the vehicle will not transfer until cleared funds have been received.

7. Vehicle Collection and Delivery
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
* Appropriate insurance cover is in place.
* Vehicle taxation requirements are met.
* They hold a valid driving licence where applicable.
Risk in the vehicle passes to the customer upon collection or delivery.
Any delivery dates provided are estimates and may be subject to change.

8. Used Vehicle Condition
Unless otherwise stated, all vehicles sold by Harris Automotive are used vehicles.
Customers should expect age and mileage-related wear and tear consistent with the age, mileage, and value of the vehicle.
Examples may include:
* Minor stone chips.
* Light scratches.
* Small dents.
* Interior wear.
* Cosmetic imperfections consistent with normal use.
Such items do not constitute faults unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

9. Warranty
Where applicable, warranty details will be supplied separately.
Warranty cover does not extend to:
* Fair wear and tear.
* Consumable items.
* Routine maintenance.
* Damage caused by misuse or neglect.
* Competition, track, or motorsport use.
* Vehicle modifications carried out after purchase.
* Failure to maintain the vehicle in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
Any warranty provided is in addition to and does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.

10. Consumer Rights
Nothing within these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights available to consumers under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable legislation.

11. Distance Sales
Where a vehicle is purchased without the customer physically viewing the vehicle beforehand, additional rights may apply under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and other applicable legislation.
Customers purchasing remotely should contact Harris Automotive if they require clarification regarding their rights prior to purchase.

12. Test Drives
Test drives are available strictly at the discretion of Harris Automotive.
Customers may be required to provide:
* A valid driving licence.
* Proof of identity.
* Proof of insurance where requested.
Harris Automotive reserves the right to refuse a test drive for any reason.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from the sale of a vehicle shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By paying a deposit, reserving a vehicle, signing any order form, or completing the purchase of a vehicle from Harris Automotive, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
